About Digital Drum Pro
DIGITAL DRUM PRO
Digital Drum Pro is an internet video portal connected to DigitalDrum.ca for professional Aboriginal creators of feature or television films and programs. Our goal is to help Aboriginal filmmakers showcase their work, and to support the indigenous film industry in Canada. Since this is a tool for Aboriginal creators who are film industry professionals to promote their work, we require accurate contact information that can be made public. Any film posted must be authorized by those holding the rights to the film.
RIGHTS TO VIEW
Digital Drum Pro is a free service to filmmakers and viewers. The site is for viewing only, not a seller or distributor. Filmmakers own their films and upload whatever they want; viewers watch but can't download; to buy a DVD you're directed to the email or web address of the filmmakers or their distributors. All films posted on Digital Drum Pro can be viewed for free. Please note that this does not include the rights to present the film in any public way: classroom rights, festival or museum screenings or any public performance rights must be negotiated through the film’s listed distributor. DVDs also provide a better quality version of the films.
DEFINITION OF ‘PROFESSIONAL ABORIGINAL CREATOR’
